What To Expect

Our worship is liturgical, sacramental, and Spirit-filled.

Liturgical worship means that the worship of God is at the center of all we do. We join the Church’s historic, global, and timeless worship, guided by the liturgy in The Book of Common Prayer. This includes singing songs of worship to God, hearing Bible reading and a sermon, praying together, and participating in Communion together.

Sacramental worship means that we encounter Jesus really and truly in Communion, one of the Sacraments Jesus has given his Church.

Spirit-filled worship means that we believe in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit when God’s people gather to worship.

Check out this bulletin from a recent Instructed Eucharist service to learn more about the beauty and meaning in every element of our corporate worship.

  • Children are always welcome to participate in our worship services, and we believe children’s participation is important for them and also for us grown-ups. Nursery is available for children ages 0-4.

  • In our Anglican tradition, Communion is open to all baptized Christians who are following the Lord. If you're not yet baptized or have questions about the Christian faith, you are welcome to our worship service! There's an opportunity for you to receive a special blessing from the priest during Communion.

  • We're a casual bunch! You're welcome to wear whatever is comfortable. You'll see both formal and informal attire.

  • Singing songs of worship to God is an important part of our worship service. We love the beauty and depth of traditional hymns, and we also love some of the great contributions to the Church that modern artists are creating. So you'll hear a blend of modern and traditional church music in our worship services.
